Biography

Joe Domski grew up in Northern Illinois. Because of his active imagination and creativity he was attracted to art when he was very young. His attention to intricate details would keep him busy drawing for hours. One of his favorite past times was exploring the countryside that surrounded his childhood home. As he neared high school, Joe developed an interest in photography and how cameras work. Since then he has been taking photographs and trying to test the limits of what photographs can do. 

After high school Joe moved to Chicago, Illinois to study photography at Columbia College Chicago. While there he experimented with and learned many different uses for photography.  He earned a Bachelor of Fine Art degree in Dec. of 2007. He currently lives in Chicago with his wife and works as a teaching assistant and lab supervisor at the Columbia College Chicago Darkrooms.
